2. Does the elastic waistband compress the stomach? Is it easy for children to put on independently?
It doesn't compress and is extremely easy to put on.The design features a very soft built-in elastic waistbandthat gently molds to the child's tummy, without leaving red marks on the skin or causing discomfort throughout the day. As it's a pull-onstyle (without buttons, zips, or snaps), it encourages the autonomy of older children when dressing themselves and greatly simplifies the routine of parents of younger children when changing nappies.
